About the Committee
The Committee on Foreign Relations oversees many international operations including foreign aid programs and arms sells, as well as provides oversight of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), the State Department, the Peace Corps, and the Millennium Challenge Corporation. It also has jurisdiction over all diplomatic nominations.
