Education
David Robinson is "committed to the principle that every child should have access to great public education." He feels the best way to insure this occurs is to provide "the necessary resources and tools to our local educators, and not the underfunding of federal mandates. It means establishing and enforcing standards of accountability that aren’t self-defeating by destroying the creative environment needed for learning. Let’s improve and move beyond No Child Left Behind. And let’s invest in our future by strengthening Early-Learning, Dropout Prevention, and Mentoring Programs that bring together stakeholders from throughout the community." [1]
Energy
David Robinson's is interested in fighting for a "bold, sustained, national commitment to a system-wide transformation of the production, distribution, and consumption of energy, for reasons of economic, national, and environmental security. This policy agenda, when successfully pursued, will serve to raise our living standards by creating domestic jobs, reducing the outflow of capital, increasing economic security, and acting responsibly to address the threat of climate change."
