[edit] Energy
Berkowitz has identified four energy priorities:

- Encouraging the development of local renewable energy resources including wind, biomass, capturing methane gas from landfills, geothermal, and harnessing energy from waves and tidal sources.
- Promote energy independence for America, including opening ANWR for oil exploration.
- Develop Alaska’s natural gas and finish the Alaskan Natural Gas Pipeline.[2]
