Education

Faulk believes that effective education can be accomplished through returning school curriculum prerogatives to state or local governments and the family. He supports strengthening the independent public schools, in which the Federal Government should not play a role. He also supports school vouchers that grant parents the control over their children’s education.

Energy

Faulk says that the oil industry in the U.S. has made contributions to the local, regional, and national economies, and deems the Houston oil industry significant in America’s energy independence. He supports technologies that help clean up coal-fired power plant emissions as well as the development of alternative, renewable and cleaner fuel sources.
