Energy
- In an interview for SW Texas Live, Larson said, “We need to expand our exploration for domestic crude. We need to look at alternatives like the energy bill that’s been laid out using agricultural products and converting it into ethanol and then getting distribution for ethanol.”[1]

Health
- In an interview for SW Texas Live, Larson said, "I think that the Republican leadership is looking at tax credits. W’re looking at different ways that we can offer assistance to families in need. I think the thresholds need to be realistic about exactly who’s going to access—whether it be through a tax credit or some kind of supplement the government’s going to give…We need to work with local hospitals...We’ve seen a substantial decline in the dollars that the federal government’s flowing in to give assistance and I think that’s an easier solution than creating a federal bureaucracy [that’s] been advocated by a number of the Presidential candidates. I don’t think that’s going to fix the problem and I don’t think that’s going to give you better healthcare."[2]
