Biography
NEUHARDT, Sharen; born in Dayton, OH in 1951; attended Fairview High School; graduated from Northwestern University with a BA in Political Science in 1973; received her JD from Georgetown University Law Center in 1976; worked at Smith & Schnacke as a business attorney; served as Vice President and General Counsel of Mead Data (now known as LexisNexis, Inc.) for two years; partner at Thompson Hine (formerly Smith & Schnacke) since 1990.

Sierra Club In the September-October 2008 "The Central Ohio Sierran newsletter", published by the Central Ohio Sierra Club group, Neuhardt was quoted as saying "I am an avid supporter of green space protection and smart growth strategies. As a business lawyer I know that economic growth and conservation are not mutually exclusive endeavors, but our responsibility for our children and grandchildren."
This article also mentions that her and her husband own a thousand-acre farm adjacent to a nature preserve. Other issues she opposes are drilling as a way out of the energy crisis , offshore drilling, or drilling in the Arctic Refuge.
